With enormous pleasure, joy and enthusiasm, Eminence with the collaboration of Partners for World Health is announcing the 2nd Global Conference on Community Health focusing on Sustaining Change in Community Health and its themes. Six plenary, twenty parallel and six posters sessions will be organized covering five thematic areas. In addition, there will be an inauguration and a closing session along with cultural, social events and day long field trip.

Understanding the importance of sustainable community health initiatives for global development, “Sustaining Change in Community Health” is selected as the theme for the conference. The conference aims to create a platform to share knowledge and skills for the stakeholders from home and abroad by exchanging their contemporaneous experiences to obtain expected outcome of the conference. This will give us the opportunity to achieve the sustaining changes for better health.
Individuals interested to present their video/photo presentations containing a story and showcase of their work are invited to submit. There should be information on organization, persons involved, background to the problem, purpose of the work, how the project is being/will be implemented and what it has achieved/will achieve. Successful applicants will be invited to attend the conference and given the opportunity to discuss their work. .
Professor Dr. A K M Rafique Uddin was a champion of Medicine and a giant of academic public and clinical health in Bangladesh. He also becomes well known as a humanitarian, speaking out against Non-Communicable Diseases and other Health disparities. With great honor the conference organizer is announcing “Prof. Dr. AKM Rafique Uddin Memorial Award” for the best Oral and poster presentation by young professionals.
Professor Farida Huq, was a renowned physician and microbiologist, served as the director of Public Health Department and an honorary senior consultant of BIRDEM until her death. With her relentless activities in the field of microbiology, Prof. Huq was known for her relentless fight towards cancer control activities. Acknowledging the work, with great pleasure the conference organizers are announcing “Prof. Farida HuqnMemorial Award” for the best Oral and Poster presentation by young professionals.
